Day 1 @ Bali

8th Sep: Preparing for the flight at 7.20am. I woke up at 3am to prepare since I can't seem to fall asleep too!

Safely touched down in Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali! Thanks to my personal assistant for carrying my luggage and making sure I'm light and comfortable wherever I go :')

Next, we met our driver for the next 3 days, I pronounce his name as "good day" and he is so friendly and nice to us! Sharing with us his experience, and telling us places to go etc, he recommended us to go to the duck resturant which was about 1 and a half hour, the long ride makes us even more tired and starved by the time we reached the resturant.

Honestly for me I think the duck, Nasi Bebek was not bad since the rest don't agree with me. I love the view from where we were seated.

Next we travel to Tegalalang Rice Terrace. This place really took our breath away. The wind blown was cold and the scenery was very very beautiful! As you can see from he picture below,
Meet our cute driver that's in red!!

^ Photo taken by good day, honestly I think it is not bad, and he was so happy he got us a nice shot since he said he is so experience in it!

Goodday surprise us again by bringing us to a Coffee House which was not part of our itinerary! The tour brought us to find out how does coffee came about.
Fun fact: it was from shits of the animals! Can your imagine what you've been drinking if you are a coffee lover? hahah
There were many different types of coffee powder as well!

Free tasting of all the flavors!  The best for me will be the Roselle Tea!

Around 4pm, we finally get to check in to our homestay!  Pondok Jepun Bali Homestay which was exactly like what the picture in airbnb depicts! The owner that Weiting talked to even greeted us personally when we arrived! Thanks for the effort and great service :)

Freshen ourselves up and head out for dinner at 8pm because our driver got sth else to attend to first. Mande's Warung for dinner! I finally tried the Bali local food called
Nasi campur which is like a mixed rice with many different kinds of food along with the rice! It taste great due to the variety of selections! We also ordered beers to kick start our trip!

Once again, dining in this beautiful resturant and the food was up to our expectations to end off the night. Bali sky was already very dark at 6pm:(

We had an early rest since we got to wake up early the next day! So that's all for day 1!

Thanks for reading-xx
