"You should accept that some doors are not meant to be opened again, and some moments shall remain memories. Accept that no matter how hard you try to work things out, things will never be the same as they were before. "

/- How to tell yourself that it's time to stop missing when it was all real before? I'm pretty sure I've moved on and that I've made the right choice of having the right people now yet I really do miss everything I once had. (status, leadership roles, friends , basketball and special moments.)

  1. That is totally true. It is really hard when life changes and we are separated from people we love and places that we are comfortable with. I am a missionary for my church and our lives usually change every 6 weeks. As we teach people the word of God, we become very attached to them, and then it is hard to be transferred to another place and again start over with total strangers. But you know what? There is nothing better! Because even though I do dearly miss the people that I worked with, I have had the chance to meet new people and have a great love for them also. And then things change again, but again, we get to meet new people and experience new adventures. Really, we aren't losing anything, we are only gaining. Plus, there is one Being that is constant and that will never change, and that of course is Jesus Christ. Though the whole world may turn upside down, He will always be there. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Here is an Easter video that has greatly strengthened me in times of change. Enjoy!
